The Far East Film Festival, during its 9 days of screenings, will present over 60 of the latest films from China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan and, new entry this year… Mongolia.
The 2012 edition, created by the Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche, will open on Friday 20th April, and will feature all the latest movies from the Far East, as well as two special sections: Asia Laughs! (L’Asia Ride!), a pioneering retrospective about Pan-Asian comedies, plus a special focus on Pink films, a spicy excursion into the history of Pink Eiga, from the Seventies up to today.
A 360 degree panorama of popular genre films, representing the tastes of that great public on the other side of the globe, investigating once again, a universe of productions that are amongst the most original, artistically sparkling and economically the most explosive on the entire planet.
