iControlAV2 is the first generation application of its kind from Pioneer Home Electronics that allows you to literally control your new Pioneer AV Receiver and BD Player with your Android devises ! Friends and family will be truly amazed as you take full control of your home theater sound in a whole new way! 4 screen modes allow you complete control of your Pioneer receivers sound tuning and switching capabilities.
“Control” mode provides the basic functions of the AV Receiver such as Power on/off, volume up and down, input select, and surround sound modes .Basic functions such as Play, Stop, Forward, and Reverse are supported for the BD Player.
Other functions include Pioneer's “Precision” mode for sound enhancement screens that also includes demo video clips to explain the benefits of these unique sound features.
“Balance” and “Emphasis” modes allow you to change the
"sweet-spot" of your home theater and independently adjust the volume of your center speaker or subwoofer. In "Emphasis" mode, you can also enjoy "Finger EQ" mode that allows you to adjust sound equalizing instantly with the touch of your finger.

As for the comment below mine, there is a setting in the menu that allows for network power operations and that would allow you to turn the receiver on and off with the app. Beware, this will also allow Apple and android devices to turn on the receiver as

Love the app! 2 things im hoping in an update. When using the HMG for sirius or Pandora it only lists 7 items. Also would love for it to scale on tablets better.

About 3 seconds after you launch the app it crashes. Worked flawlessly on my iPhone 4s

App is awesome, the look and feel is exactly what customers are looking for these days when buying good equipment. However it still doesn't support full resolution like the newer icontrolav 2012 app. Come on pioneer get this updated please asap:

Does not fill my Samsung note's big screen. Functionality works 100%. The iOS version is fantastic as well. Wish we can turn on the receiver and back to standby with the app.

Freezes, crashes and no longer lets me scroll through intrnet radio options. Disappointed!
