Random Facts was originally designed and programmed for iPhone by Adam Debreczeni in 2008. Random Facts is now available for Android 2.2 and later devices.

Did you know the Stig is not a man, but a character in the UK television show Top Gear? "It" plays on the anonymity of racing drivers' full-face helmets. Producers wanted to have a professional racing driver as part of the show's cast, but ran into difficulty finding a driver sufficiently adept at speaking on-camera. Random Facts not only gives you text description of this story, but shows Stig's ptoto and/or plays audio and video clips as well.
Random Facts is built around an embedded database containing hundreds of facts. You can use it offline even on an airplane or in a Bugatti Veyron. Did you know that the Bugatti Veyron is the most expensive modern car in the world at USD $2,600,000? The Super Sport version is the fastest road-legal car in the world, with a top speed of 431.07 km/h (267.85 mph).
You always get the latest facts and stories from our database. This small database is connected to our web API interface and SQL remote servers. Data is always updated when you have network connections. Local facts have priority over global ones. When your geo position is available we collect all the interesting facts you may be interested in.
The remote servers cannot be seen and 3rd party contents, such as images, clips and movie streams can not be played when you have no data connection. To play audio and video, fast 3G or WiFi access is required.
For less than the price of an ice-cream Random Facts will provide entertainment for you and your friends for hours.
Note that network connection is required for online content. Some Android devices cannot play mp4 movies and mp3 audio streams. Unlicensed versions present text only. Random Facts is also available for iPod and iPhone at iTunes AppStore. MS Windows Mobile platform is sold at Microsoft’s Marketplace.
