Sarrocco is a rising star in the pop/r&b/hip hop/electro genres. Sarrocco’s music has been strongly influenced by musical acts such as Michael Jackson, Prince and The Revolution, Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Quincy Jones, Motown, Timbaland, DangerMouse, David Guetta, The Beatles, Benny Benassi, and The Red Hot Chile Peppers. He was born in Minneapolis, MN, to successful bassist, who played with the likes of Prince, Morris Day and the Time, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Alexander O’Neal, Paula Abdul, Jesse Johnson and Arsenio Hall.
With this genetic raw talent, Sarrocco started singing, dancing, and playing the piano at age 3. He joined the local church choir and elementary school choir at age 6. Sarrocco has written songs since the young age of 9, and has been doing public performances since the age of 12. Sarrocco moved to Los Angeles shortly after high school. He worked as a staff songwriter and music producer for Strange Motel Music, a company that worked in tandem with the super producers, The Underdogs. He also helped run a recording studio in the Atwater Village section of Los Angeles. During this time, he honed and polished his skills as a young song writer/music producer and sound engineer, working with many different artists on the Los Angeles music scene. This helped prepare Sarrocco to do what he really loved, being a true recording artist.
