LocaShare is an application that uses your GPS Provider to prepare SMS messages that include your current coordinates. When you open the application, just simply hit the button and it will create an SMS message. All you have to do is address it and hit send.
This Location Sharing app allows you to share your location without the receipient needing to install the app themselves. Because you are sending your location, your receipent does not know where you are at all times, but only when you choose to share.
I use this app for when I travel on the interstate and my party is curious to where I am at right now. I don't want to share my location at all times, so this allows me to share my location on a map. Because this uses SMS, the recipient does not need LocaShare installed.
The application does not actually send any SMS messages.
An example message is:
I am within 10 meters from [Link to Google Maps with your current coordinates].

Would reccomend for anyone trying to give directions to a friend.
