1.What is Airtel Sports TV?
Airtel Sports TV is a entertainment application that works on GPRS/ EDGE/ 3G & Wifi. The subscriber gets to view, download and share videos of the subscribed channel.
2.Which platforms is the app available currently to download?
Airtel Sports TV application is available on all the major platforms like Android, Symbian Belle , iOS and Blackberry 5+ . It can be downloaded from handset supported app stores free of cost.
3.How does the service work?
You can subscribe single or multiple channels as per your choice. On completion of subscription process you can start viewing, downloading and sharing the video content from subscribed channels. For E.g. If you subscribe to Sachin World channel, you will be able to view and download available videos and share them directly on Facebook, Twitter etc.
4.How does one subscribe to the service?
Service will be for Airtel post-paid & prepaid customers. To subscribe to the video channel you have to be an Airtel subscriber. You have to click on preferred channel and choose the subscribe option. On successful subscription an SMS will be sent to your mobile number confirming subscription and the charging. User will have to click on the refresh icon on the Channels page to make that subscription reflect in the app, post which user will be able to access content inside these channels. Data connection is required for content download.

6.How does one unsubscribe from the service?
For unsubscribing, go to the settings page and clicks on unsubscribe icon. You will receive a sms for unsubscription. Click on Refresh button on the channel list page. You’ll be unsubscribed from the service.
7. How does a user know if he is subscribed/Unsubscribed to a channel?
User can check it on the channel screen by the color of the respective bubbles placed against the channels ( it will be green for subscribed channels and red for the unsubscribed / not subscribed ones.
8.How does the Auto download works?
User will have to activate Autodownload by checking box against Autodownload in Settings page. Via Auto Download we push the videos to your handset, which you can view anytime. We take care of your mobile battery and data connections. We try to perform auto download in the night when you are not using your handset. Hence, you save on the processing power and performance of your device.
The autodownload time is server configurable and can be changed at the server end. This change will reflect in the application whenever the application is updated. By default the application is updated at 12:00am.
9. How can I disable the Auto download?
You can disable it by removing the tick mark against the auto download option in settings.
10.How does the Auto play works?
This functionality plays the video automatically at the time fixed by the user in the settings tab. The autoplay feature has to be enabled while the application is installed for the first time. By Default whenever there will be a change in the autodownload time at the server & the application is updated, the autoplay time is set to 15min ahead of autodownload time.
11.How can I disable the Auto Plays?
You can adjust the timings or disable it from the settings tab.
12. How does the Wi-fi Auto download works?
Sports TV app scans for Wi-fi every hour and on successful detection it performs auto downloading of videos, hence saving cellular data bandwidth. The Auto Download Detection will start from the Time this option was enabled in the settings tab.
