The Gratitude of the Crane

This is a 45 page photo book of The Gratitude of the Crane, one of the famous old tales in Japan. One day an old man helped a crane. On the same night, a girl came to the man's house and became friendly with him. She said that she wanted to make fine cloth and asked him not to look into her room while making it. He peeked the room and a crane was weaving the cloth using her own feathers. The crane was the one he had saved. She left his house and flew away to the sky. The photo book includes the pictures of snow views, cranes and woven fabric, which remind us of the story.
