Youtube Remote allows users to use their Android device as a remote control while watching Youtube on a bigger screen
Two of the best things ever invented are remote control and Youtube. Bringing them together allows us to enjoy a full user experience. Use your Android device as a remote control to Google's video sharing site.
You can use it in any screen connected to the Internet (PC, SmartTV, TV with set-top-box, etc). However, you need to configure it first time, adding your screens to Youtube's leanback. On your larger screen go to www.youtube.com/leanback. Using the arrow keys, navigate to "My Youtube" and scroll all the way to the right to select the "Pair" option. A 9 digit pairing code will appear: type it on your mobile device and start enjoying your mobile device as a remote control.
You can switch between your large screens or between your large screen and your mobile device. From the mobile device you can search for videos, play, pause, play next or previous, like, share, flag or even add videos to your playlist. Full featured remote control to enjoy Youtube from the couch. Highly recommended.
With YouTube Remote, you can use your Android phone or tablet as a remote control for YouTube videos on your desktop computer or Internet TV.
Simply visit youtube.com/leanback on your computer or TV, and navigate to My YouTube -> Pair with mobile device.
If your friends also have YouTube Remote, they can pair with your TV screen and share control of the playlist.
