Registration
To register for the Barclays Mobile Banking app, you need to be aged 16 or over and have a UK-registered mobile number and a Barclays current account. You'll then need to register your Barclays current account by following the onscreen log-in instructions.
You'll need your sort code & account number to register. You’ll also need to verify your identity with PINsentry or at a Barclays ATM
Once you’ve registered your current account, your other Barclays Personal and Business accounts (including your Barclaycard Personal accounts) that you view together in Online Banking will be added automatically and can be viewed and managed in your app. If you have groups of related accounts that are kept separate online you may need to set up Barclays Mobile Banking on another device for each group
Once you're set up, subsequent log-ins will only require you to have your 5-digit passcode (which you create) to hand.
What's more, you don't even need to be registered for Barclays Online Banking to register for the Barclays Mobile Banking app.
Getting a new phone or mobile device? There’s no need to re-register or call our helpdesk – you can set up Barclays Mobile Banking on up to 3 devices yourself using the app
