The convenient & flexible way to manage your banking on the go
•Sign in with a 4 digit passcode, or your fingerprint. Fingerprint sign in available on Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S5,Note 4 and Note 4 Edge(note these sign in options won’t work if your device has been jail broken. i.e. the device has been tampered with to remove/alter the standard system settings and applications)

While many other Android handsets have NFC functionality, they lack the required security hardware (Embedded Secure Element) to keep your payment details safe. When the manufacturers add the security hardware for NFC payments to handsets such as Google Nexus 5, Westpac will then add its Pay functionality to these devices in Australia. Please contact your handset manufacturer for further information on when they plan to launch a handset with an EMV chip to keep your payment details safe.

    Just not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S2! I have removed the old app as suggested but the new one will not load successfully!! I have tried numerous occasions hoping Westpac will sort out this problem...From the comments I am not the only one who preferred the old version. I can no longer do mobile banking which is very inconvenient!! :(

    I have had it with the changes forcing me to ring them on the 132 number costing money. Seems like any business can just blame a bug to make money from support calls these days, and they don't care cos we all have phone plan inclusions. They don't answer outside of business hours, Lost recurring payment management when I got told it was fixed, Updated app now can't log in on any device. Will not

    I'd give you zero stars for this Westpac if I could. Not only is the app so painfully slow it tries to install a Samsung NFC driver for the secure Sony NFC hardware... which fails of course. Dangerous and a security risk as it could cause people to turn off the signed applications only setting to try to install it. You fail bad here. Terrible for a bank. *slaps your hand*

    Registered for Tap an Pay (Samsung S5) and it has been almost 24hrs since the supposed activation time. Still waiting. Other than that it's not a bad app.
