Ask licensed doctors about medical concerns

    • Excellent idea
    • Many doctors of many specialties
    • Thousands of questions answered
    • Long to load, could be improved

    "My Health Bible"

HealthTap is a useful application regarding health and recommended by many publications (New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NBC, etc).

First of all, you'll need to sign up with a new account and choosing the topics you're most interested in. After that, you will be able to browse through the list of doctors divided into specialties or simply ask your question. After writing your concern, you will be shown other similar questions in case you want to read some answers before asking the same again.

The app is extremely useful and free, with answers from more than 30,000 licensed doctors. Those doctors can be evaluated, you can thank them and they will be ranked base on the users' opinions.

However, although we find this app helpful and complete, it takes long to load the information sometimes and button response could be much quicker.

HealthTap is the developer of the app of the same name, a wonderful idea for a better access to medical opinions. Navigate through the app and discover all of its features.

Well, first, most of the "doctors" were complete idiots. Now they've gotten rid of the free questions option, so you have to pay at least $49 to ask a question and you only get 150 characters.
