We think seeing the time while working out makes more sense. It makes you work harder and keep going. This app has been designed for that. However, if you want to hold the phone in your hands or keep it in your pocket while exercising, you may use the ‘Smart Lock’ feature.
Smart lock locks the timer screen and protects from accidental touches. There are 2 modes of smart lock:
1. Normal mode
2. Dim mode (saves battery)
To turn smart lock on, tap and hold 'iCountTimer' on timer screen. Tap and hold once again to turn on the dim mode.

As soon as there is a volume control for the coach functions (voice, beeps, countdown) I will give this app 5 stars. Very versatile timer.

For me, it seems more logical to count every rep with the voice. If i set it to 4 counts(reps) i would like to hear 1, 2, 3, 4. or perhaps Start/Go, 2,3,4. so the start is not confused with the count down. As it is now, it seems that it doesn't count the

I've been looking for an app that does what is offered here. The progress bar gets a little buggy on my Galaxy S4, but that's a minor issue, and definitely not any kind of deal breaker; the important content displayed in the app works perfect.
