This app is for Australian healthcare consumers with children under the age of 14 years. It allows parents and authorised representatives to access the child’s personally controlled electronic health (eHealth) record to add and view information about the child’s development.
The my child’s eHealth record is not a replacement for the paper child personal health record.
The things you need before you can use this app:
• a child eHealth record. You need to register at eHealth.gov.au. Do this from a computer (you cannot register from a mobile phone)
• a myGov account. To access the Government’s online services use your myGov username and password to access the child’s eHealth record.
If you have previously registered with Australia.gov.au you will need to upgrade to a myGov account and accept the myGov terms and conditions before you can access the child’s eHealth record.
If you receive an “expired password” message when logging in to the app, go to myGov and change your password.
For more information please visit www.ehealth.gov.au or contact the Helpline on 1800 723 471.
This mobile app is a collaborative initiative developed by the Australian Government and the National eHealth Transition Authority.
