Losing weight or getting fit is mostly power of will dressed with just a little of action. That's not a mystery anymore, you've read it a thousand of times. Fortunately, there are tools to help you achieve it. Nexercise is one of them. Logging and keeping you motivated. That's Nexercise's keystone.
Logging is mandatory to keep track of your progress. You can log any activity your workout is based on: running, Crossfit, Walking, Weightlifting... and many more. Track the time you spend doing it and the miles you complete. Your activity level may earn your rewards. Workouts give you XP and ranks. Activity days and total time, XP and rank is all displayed on a summary at Nexercise's home. You can resume activity whenever you want and check your progress on the Weight graph.
In order to keep you motivated, Nexercise adds a social layer. Thus, you can sign up with your favorite social network and invite friends to join your weight loss challenges. Exposure and competition with close friends is a good way to avoid you from dropping it. Thus, you will be able to check your friend's activity, like and comment their status to defy them or cheer them up.
Nexercise is set in a user-friendly and intuitive interface. It doesn't get lost among hundreds of features. It packs just the basic stuff to help you track, log and see summarized results. I've been a Nexercise user for a while now, but since my phone updated, your app won't finish loading my workouts. I have to go back and then go to the home page and it will log it finally but I also don't get any mpoints for it. I'm about to quit using it.
Can't log more than one type of exercise at a time, totally inacurate exercise measuring tools. Should have no. of reps done instead of time for things like pushups/crunches
I like how easy the app is to use but need more specific types of work outs. Suggestion would be stationery bike. I had to use biking which shows way too many calories burned.
My biggest problem with this app is that it is not specific enough. For instance, there's a category called "weightlifting" but it doesn't take into consideration the type of exercise, the amount of weight, or the sets or reps. Then it just comes up with some random number of calories burned? Like really? In other words, its completely useless. Also its very cluttered with ads.
Like it....but...Make the popup note about trying the widget go away....annoying! If I wanted the widget I'd load it I do not need you to tell me to try it everytime I exercise.
