Control the lives of the ones that require more attention
KeepUs is a social application that allows users to keep in touch with those members of the family who require more attention. This app is especially created for checking up on the older members of the family in a very discreet way.
First of all, you need to install the app in their device and enter personal information. After that, you will be able to check their routine, see if they move, where they are and set up alerts to receive notifications.
The app is easy to manage and can be useful if you have older relatives that require your attention. Ardrex Research is the developer of KeepUs, an application with a good objective in mind.
Easy to set-up and effective.Developer's original description available here
KeepUs keeps you in touch with the people you care for, who need a little more attention than they once did. We all lead busy lives, and nowadays we often live far from our parents and loved ones. It takes one click on the KeepUs app or website to stay in touch with your loved one, watch their daily routine unfold, and check that everything is ok.
As we age, we want to stay independent. Nobody wants people fussing over them, making them feel dependent on carers. KeepUs is discreet, you can check in on someone without disturbing them, and call by phone or in person if you think something is wrong. Better still, you can set up alerts, so when KeepUs detects that something might be wrong with your relative or friend, it notifies you proactively.
When you first get KeepUs, you install the app on your phone and the phone of the person you're caring for. On the caree's phone, grant access to yourself to see their data, and that's it. The caree doesn't have to do anything other than carry the phone around. KeepUs automatically keeps you in sync, and they can use the phone as normal.
You can see how often they go out, visit shops or friends, and can see longer term trends and gradual changes to their routine that you otherwise might miss.
If you're caring for someone with dementia, you might worry that you can't leave for 5 minutes because they might become confused and leave the home. With the KeepUs app, you can put a phone in their pocket, and set up alerts so that you get an immediate notification when they start moving, and see exactly where they are.
