The monthly subscription costs USD 5.99 per month while the yearly subscription costs USD 29.99 per year or USD 2.50 per month. Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. There is no increase in cost when renewing.

Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off on wallet.google.com and click on ‘Update or cancel your subscription’ on the Transactions page after purchase.     GPS workz half the time. A useless app.

    The mapping and distance functions work nicely although I did have one glitch where it cross-linked the map from one hike to the distance logs of another. The elevation function is a different story. On one hike where I looped through the same point six times, it recorded six totally different elevations from 757 to 845 ft for the exact point which the topo map shows to be at approx. 870 ft. Ot

    One big problem is it is not easy nor intuitive to switch the pace from minutes per mile to miles per hour. I like, use, need both.
