    To start, I have a Nexus 5, so I shouldn't need to use background plus mode. I can see that it counts just fine in the background... Sometimes. Other times I'll go for a walk and then pull it up to see it counted nothing. I haven't figured out what's causing this. Ultimately I don't think a phone is the best device for a pedometer anyway, so hopefully when I get a Moto 360 it can take over that fu

    How is the length of stride determined? I'm six ft.four in. I have a 35 to 37 in. Stride not the 41 to 47 in. That was posted in the pace box. Others impressed with app very good for me but the stride is wrong so distance is off
