CereProc has developed the world's most advanced text to speech technology. Our voices not only sound real, they have character, making them suitable for any application that requires speech output.

This voice can synthesize:
* Navigation directions from Google Navigation while driving
* Accessibility information with Talkback
* Twitter, Facebook and newsfeeds with iHearNetwork
* Your favourite eBook from eBook reader apps
* Your SMS with apps like Handcent SMS or Drive Carefully
* and many other TTS-enabled apps

Please note that for some applications such as Google Navigation, we recommend installing on a device with at least a 1GHz processor.

You can try the Heather voice for yourself, in the interactive demo on CereProc's homepage:

    No matter the combination of settings I try, I cannot get this to take over from the Google TTS engine when using Google Maps navigation.

    Great voice, happy to have it back! Brief note to other users, you may have to disable Google TTS completely to get this working with the latest Maps update. Also one star deducted because it consistently cuts off a split second when it starts and I hear things like "urn left" and "ake the exit".

    Loved it for as long as it worked. Nowadays it crashes the settings in a stock Nexus 7 first gen every time I select it. It is unusable.

    Almost perfect but otherwise awesome. In my opinion for English voices Heather (Scotland) and Jess (North English) are the best. Visit the CereProc website to hear the voices read a page or sentences :)

    Very good voice quality and natural tone. Constantly crashing when used in other apps such as Google Map navigation, etc. Fixed by uninstall and reinstall. Galaxy S4 with CyanogenMod 11 (Android 4.4.4)
