AaltoMenus

AaltoMenus offers an easy, fast and smart way to browse through all available lunch options for Aalto University students and staff. It takes the user’s campus, curren location, food preferences and allergies into account when displaying the lunch menus. It also provides information about restaurants, including their location and opening hours and a way to contact them if necessary. Includes restaurants from Otaniemi, Helsinki city center, Arabia, Kumpula and Viikki.

Features:
- displays closest restaurants based on the user's current location
- shows the remaining lunch time in each restaurant
- highlighting special diets in the menus
- map view including restaurants and user's position
- saving the lunch menus to the phone, so that network access is required only once a week

Lunch menu information is downloaded from sodexo.fi and lounasaika.net. Unfortunately all of the meal names are not available in English.
