As its developers say in the video presentation, Clipix is your one-click, save-anything, send-it-to-anyone-anywhere secret weapon. What does this mean? Well, in the beginning it really looks like another sort of cloud-based notes service. However, it has some added-value features worth to explain.
First off, your stuff is organized on clipboards. There are some default clipboards like "Gifts for family", "Great shoes", "Vacation ideas" or "Books I'd like to read". Of course, you can add as many clipboards (or categories) as you want. The stuff you'll keep in your clipboards are (obviously) "clips". How do you catch them? It could be pictures taken with your camera or gallery, a barcode or a link. Thus, it's not a note reminder, but a stuff reminder.
Actually, it reminds to a "read it later" service but you can keep other non-readable things like stuff you want to buy, vacation offers, gifts ideas, places you want to visit...
Finally, what makes it really interesting is its social approach: you can set your clipboards as public/private. Public clipboards can be seen by your friends. Invite your friends to use Clipix, add them as friends and start sharing interest and stuff you've in mind.
The app is set in a good-looking layout, with a 5-tabs top bar to navigate through the app. It's really easy to get the hang of it, and really useful. We understand that it's difficult to start a new service if we're already using a "read it later" or cloud-based notes service. However, we're pretty sure you'll get hooked if you try it. Recommendable.
