First time you launch Easy App Lock it asks you to make a "Quick Scan". It tracks your installed app gives you back useful info about your apps: apps startup, cache (MB), backups found, app2sd apps, etc. If you tap "Optimize" it automatically cleans your cache, backup and classify your apps in order to make your device run smoother.
However, you can manually perform this and other stuff (root devices have access to a wider range of features). You can add a lock code to the apps you want: for example, if you don't want your gallery to be accessible to anyone that grab your phone, you can set a password. Same procedure with other apps. You can also classify your apps from "App arrangement" by creating new categories and folders and adding there your apps. You can also clean cache, unistall, manage app, app2SD and backup manually.
One of the features we liked most is "App optimization" from where you can turn off startup apps (only root). Some of them though should be launched at boot to run properly, so be careful with this.
Despite of its name which is a bit confusing, this is a comprehensive app manager with both automatic and manual features to boost your device performance. Recommendable.
