The official IKEA Catalogue in your Android
IKEA is all over the place, in your Android too. Discover the easiest way to check the IKEA Catalogue and get some ideas to decorate your home.
First off, you have to select your country: bear in mind that some items are only available in specific countries. Then choose the catalogue in the language you prefer, in case that's available in more than one language in a given country. Then, you get full access to the mobile version of IKEA Catalogue, that's exactly the same than the paper version.
The difference lies on the navigation: you can scroll the pages, choose the page you want to go and get it quickly. There's also a grid view of the catalogue and a categories list. In addition, you will find in all pages a plus button which contains detailed info of every item: name, price, measure, etc.
Overall, the app is useful since you have a portable IKEA catalogue in your pocket. However, it's just a PDF of the paper catalogue, nothing else. It has some features that makes it navigable, but we expected something else from the official IKEA catalogue. For extended info it links to IKEA website.
IKEA Catalogue has been developed by Inter IKEA System B.V., the official IKEA's developer team.
Besides all the ideas and products that you will find by browsing the pages in the catalog and publications, you will be able to access even more content with your Smartphone or tablet. By scanning selected pages in the printed IKEA catalog or accessing the pages in the digital catalog, you can view films and 360° room sets, and get to know the stories behind the products. You can also place selected furniture from the catalogue in your own room with the help of 3D and Augmented Reality!
To access the extra content, just look for the plus (+) symbol on the catalog pages and start scanning. All extra content is accessible in the digital IKEA catalog, as well.
The IKEA catalog was first introduced in 1951 and the first digital version was launched in 2011.
We have done some improvements in the application

Not even the timer for the release of the new catalog. It is better to have it under development and only announce when a beta version is ready for different countries.
I love having the catalog at my fingertips. I don't try to get fancy with furniture placement and such. I just wanted to be able to see the catalogs and brochures. The app works great for that. Anything else I use my desktop for.
Slow to load. Freezes constantly. Can't use it.
Silly app keeps asking for my region and language. Boring. Samsung galaxy s3.
Just plain fun to browse.
If you're looking for an app that can't deliver on what it makes itself out to be, and crashes at every opportunity, you're gonna LOVE this crap!!
