It generally works well but the app is dreadfully dated. VERY SLOW to load; I give up on slow mobile data connections out in the county. Ui conflict between temp up down arrows and the dial. Very few options for control and data logging. Only one nest account can control a thermostat; so I have to give my login details with anyone to whom I wish to give control. Hopefully the app will improve as

Like being able to control away mode when I leave and change temperature from work or wherever I am. Would be nice to control from android wear as well.

Setting up a schedule on the app is the worse experience ever for such a high tech device. For a start, you have to guess how high up the scale the temperature is. It's such a fiddly experience. Improve the user experience Nest!
