This app works, but it is very unstable. It crashes all the time while synchronizing and when downloading the shopping list. The feature list is good, and the app is usable even with the annoying crashes. I like pepperplate, but I'm concerned that this app hasn't been updated in over a year. I'm not even sure if the main webservice is still under development. I'm also concerned that there is

When I downloaded this, it was amazing. Would have given it five stars; everything I wanted. Then, like so many others, it crashed, and will not open anymore. That makes it just a waste of space on my nexus 7. Update it to not crash, and maybe I'll reinstall.

Let me start off by saying that the website works very well. This app, however, is pretty lacking. Would love for them to add the ability to import recipes from cooking sites via the app, along with the ability to scale the recipe (as they do on the website). As is, the app is disappointing.

The app crashes frequently actually crashing android itself. If you try to update the list in the store and anything else happens on your phone it will crash. If it is sending data over the network good luck trying to us the app. Put networking on a separate thread. Zero response from the developers when posting feedback. Sadly its still one of the better shopping list apps so I keep using it hopi

I have the app on my tablet as well and like it, and was excited that I could sync shopping lists to my phone. However, in the grocery store, it froze on me at least half a dozen times, once to the point I had to restart my phone. Not worth it if that keeps happening.

Successful on Samsung S3, iPOD, Htc Evo, but it choked on the Galaxy Tab! Like others downloaded 38% of recipes but then it froze, screen went black. Too bad was looking forward to using it on the bigger screen.

Hangs in downloading grocery list. This was the first thing I created with it. First impression is last

While this app does most of the basics in tandem with its website, it suffers from a bland and unintuitive interface, the inability to properly use it without the website and other missing features. It's ok. Not bad, not great.

I tried this out after seeing it suggested online. The app is lacking basic features I would hope for, such as being able to add recipes. It also crashes my device, which is why I am uninstalling it.

I love this app for what it does, but the mechanics need some work. The list sync across multiple devices is a nightmare, often times I find myself logging into the web version from my phone when I'm at the store. When I log in from my tablet to pull up a recipe, it syncs the shopping list and hangs or crashes. I'm hoping the give it the love it deserves, because I really like its capabilities.

Great app but 90% of the time it either locks up or just closes. Running 4.4.2 ...hope this gets addressed soon.

Great app. I particularly love the auto organizing of grocery lists. However, the app freezes often on my Galaxy Tab 10.1. Haven't had as many freezing issues with the app on my Razr Maxx HD but they do happen. Another big issue is syncing between the web app and android app doesn't always work flawlessly. I've lost grocery lists for a whole week a number of times after trying to pull the list

Pepperplate is a really great app for managing recipes. I used to use Springpad before. But now that they are shutting down, I needed to find a good alternative for recipes. I think I have found one! I can import recipes from a big list of supported websites, manually add recipes from blogs using the bookmarklet, and type in my own recipes too! Planning what to cook for the week and creating menus
