About Ride For Dad
Each year thousands of motorcyclists come together to raise funds for prostate cancer research and awareness. Our day starts with a police escorted parade through the center of the city then a self-directed poker run though the city's countryside.
Ride For Dad now supports all the chapters of the national Ride For Dad. When you download the app, select your local chapter, and you'll get you local events and maps! You can change the chapter anytime in Settings.
This app is your guide to Ride For Dad, and allows you to:
•check out the full calendar of events, both pre-registration and Race Day
•take souvenir photos with the "Souvenir Cam" and post them to Facebook and Twitter
•add events to your calendar right from the app so you don't miss any events
•embedded map with the route for Ride For Dad and all the stops along the way. No more worries about being lost.
•You can decide to share your location with your Facebook friends, and see theirs, all from the mobile app.
•Your FB friends cans see your progress, if you choose, on the web at the Ride For Dad website.
Warning: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
