Saga is a powerful new kind of utility that lets your Android device keep track of everywhere you've gone -- all without you having to check in.

Saga can help automate tasks through its integration with IFTTT. With Saga + IFTTT, you can automatically:

* Turn off the lights at home when you're at work
* Text your friends when you've arrived at the bar
* Keep a list of all of the restaurants you've visited on vacation
* Silence your ringer when you're at a library
* Remind you to get gas when you're near a gas station

Saga uses the sensors on your Android device to create a personal journal known as a "lifelog". The lifelog Saga builds for you provides a rich summary of the places you've gone, how long you've been there, and the things you've done at each location. You can enrich your lifelog with photos, personalized notes, videos, and data from your other favorite services (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Runkeeper, Withings, Fitbit, or TripIt).

No. Unlike other location tracking apps, Saga will not drain your battery. Typical users are getting about 24 hours of battery life while running Saga. If you think that your battery life is being compromised by running Saga, contact us at We want to hear from you!

We take your privacy very seriously.

Saga will never ever sell, rent, or give away the personal data we collect on your behalf. Really. We use the data we collect to make sure that your lifelog is as accurate as it can be -- and that your battery lasts as long as possible. That's it.

If you choose to permanently delete your data from the app, we'll delete your data from every place we've stored it. You will always have the option to decide what information you want to share with others if we introduce new data sharing options.

More information about our privacy policy can be found here:

You'll get more out of Saga the longer you use it. Over time, Saga will surface trends data and visuals infographs to help you learn more yourself. With Saga, you can:

* Track your time in transit, at work, and everywhere you go
* Understand your how you spend your time and where you go with personal lifelog analytics
* Optimize your life by having a better understanding of how you spend your time

The UI gives you very limited options to change or update your log. It guesses most places incorrectly and when you go to correct it, searching for places hardly ever works. Manually inserted travel is impossible to delete, it's really easy to accidentally create a gap with no data, and there's no way to correct that manually. Also, sometimes it gets stuck on trying to find a gps signal when I'm i

The Times don't match my calendar. What's up with that? Great concept. Considering deleting

Since the latest update, I can't see any of friends I follow. This app also drains the battery more since the update. Please fix or give us the option to use the last version.

This app was probably the best feature on my phone at one time. With its integration with IFTTT, I would track workouts, dinners at restaurants etc to my calendar. Now, since the update, I have gaps in my lifelog spanning days. Trying to edit/enter entries, nearly unnecessary in the past, has now become required and is nearly impossible with the existing UI. I hope a fix is coming as there is

This used to be one of the most gorgeous apps in the store. The unique cool blue scheme was beautiful. Now I feel like I've regressed six years into 2008 - the design is all too reminiscent of Android 2.0-era apps. Tracking is unreliable as ever and the team isn't listening to our feedback. Avoid.

Saga is awesome and I love the idea of it. However, a lot of my data ends up wrong because I am typically in a car on my workplace's campus. My evening commute data is often merged with the last time I'm in a car at work. There needs to be a way to split these and also edit the times of events manually for better accuracy. Otherwise there isn't much point of lifelogging.

Terrible new sickly green colour scheme. Drains battery. Developers can't be bothered replying to emails. Avoid.
