"Pray without ceasing" - 1 Thessalonians 5:17
SharePrayer is an app that helps people put God first, even in a world full of distractions. SharePrayer has two main features – the ability to set alerts to remind you to stop what you’re doing and pray, and the ability to share and receive prayer requests from friends and family.
SharePrayer is an easy and effective way to keep track of things you want to pray for. In addition you can send prayer requests to your friends and family either directly through the app or via email, Facebook, or Twitter. Sending and receiving prayer requests is now easier than ever!
Who is this app for?
This app is for anyone who wants to have a closer relationship with God. SharePrayer is great for those of us who get asked all the time by friends and family to pray for things, but never remember to actually do so!
How does direct prayer sharing work in this app?
What sets SharePrayer apart from similar apps is the ability to share and receive prayer requests from family and friends directly through the app! In order to do this, you must link your email to the app on the settings screen and make sure “Accept Prayer Requests” is on. Once you do that, when a friend wants to share a prayer request with you, all they have to do is press the middle "share" button on the app description page and enter your email. BOOM! Their prayer request automatically is added to your list of things to pray for!
What happens if I’m not sure if my friend has SharePrayer?
The great thing about SharePrayer is that if you share a prayer request with someone directly through the app, if they don’t have SharePrayer, they still get your prayer request – it just gets emailed to them automatically instead!
Here's what a few of our beta testers had to say about SharePrayer:
“After using this app for a few weeks, I truly feel that I have a better, more meaningful relationship with God.” - Stacy B.
“I finally don’t have to dig through emails to remember what my friends and family wanted me to pray for!” - Barry W.
Fixed a bug where some email addresses would not be correctly detected.
