The VisAssist Contrastinator is a CCTV reader for Android. It uses the device's camera to filter and enhance text in real time, making it easier to read. By enlarging the text and displaying it in high contrast, even the smallest text becomes readable. The VisAssist Contrastinator features a minimalist interface with easy to learn controls.

Uses:
Make small text easier to read
Turn the filter off and use your device as a magnifying glass

Controls:
Single tap - Auto-focus camera
Double tap - Take picture
One-finger swipe left and right - Change alpha filter color
One-finger swipe up and down - Change omega filter color
Two-finger swipe left and right - Adjust filter sensitivity
Two-finger swipe up and down - Zoom camera in and out
Long press - Opens the menu

The menu contains options for turning the device light on/off, locking the color change to prevent accidental changes, and the tutorial.

    Zoom and color change would not work. Interface is bizarre. One and two finger swipes doing different stuff. But not working Galaxy s3

    Great app. Wish it also worked in low light, maybe by using LED flash.
