With the new logbook rules, they require the Licence Plate and Juristiction on the DDVIR (Drivers Daily Vehicle Inspection Report), instead of just the unit number. Even some logbook pages require the Plate Numbers too. Here is an app for those that switch quite a number of trailers on a daily basis, in a large fleet of units.
Once a unit is stored in the database, it can be called back with all information at hand, instead of constantly running to the back of the trailer, getting the info, using it, and then switching again later. Then you are re-assigned the unit some time down the road, and have to manually get the info again. With this app, once you have the info, you have it at hand.
This app will also warn you if the CVI (Commercial Vehicle Inspection) is coming due or expired. You can also store notes about a unit for later reference.
The configurations allow for listing 3 individual trailer, jeep-trailer-booster, single trailer, double trailers (b-trains), A-Train (2 and 3 trailer sets) with convertors, or any combination of 3 trailers 2 convertors 1 jeep 1 booster.
