Coversal is a universal remote control for Android which supports wide range of protocols and applications such as UPnP, XBMC, VLC, MPlayer, etc... The convergence of several protocols into an integrated application allows you to control all of your favorite media center application and Home Cinema devices easily.

    On SSHmote the audio and subtitle and OSD buttons are always visible. With Coversal I have to press button on bottom to make them appear. I'll keep using SSHmote as long as I can. They are otherwise essentially identical. I don't consider this an improvm

    The 'save' button doesn't always saves properly, making me lose changes frequently, also, sometimes buttons get disabled at random between uses of the app. Other than that, it connects really fast and together with xdotool and wmctrl I can pretty much do

    nice UI, but it constantly disconnect from mplayer... and crashes frequently. please fix that.

    This used to be a decent mplayer remote, but each update makes it less and less usable. Now it is impossible to keep it connected for more than a couple minutes. I wish I could downgrade it.

    It's the perfect app for a linux box. It would be nice to have better docs for some profiles like dbus.
