I have two boxes, WD TV Live Streaming for watching everything on my Synology NAS, and a Sony NSZ-GS7 GoogleTV for Netflix and other stuff. This app works great for streaming just about every media format you can throw at it - EXCEPT for anything with DTS. This is a limitation of GoogleTV, not Vimu. I've noticed that switching between video formats in the same viewing session will cause the player to slow down and eventually crash. A reboot will fix it, you can prevent it by occasionally exiting the application then restarting.

I purchased this app to be used with my Asus Cube with Google TV. The built-in player did not recognize subtitles. The Vimu player recognized .srt subtitles in streamed videos and displayed them appropriately.
