Dr Droid

In the present scenario, we have seen many applications related to medicine, but in most of them we find that though the services provided in them are pretty good, they are mostly confined to a single location or is static.We can however enhance the mobility of these services from static to dynamic services. This app achieves this by bundling all the medical related things into a single interface

The app will get the basic information about all details of particular hospital and about any information about diseases and symptoms will get instantly through this application and it will show the path or location of the particular hospital in the map and will also give its driving directions.So it would be easy for the user to browse through the list of doctors and hospitals in this system which does not take him much time.Videos in our application about the first aid show exactly what to do and what not to do.
Hence this app is unique in its own style and redefines the term of complete mobile health management.

Modules:
1.Diseases
2.First Aid
3.Doctors
4.Hospitals

Diseases:
1.Gives the list of frequent Diseases
2.Click on a disease navigates to the disease details page.
3.Details include: Disease Symptoms, Precautions, suggestions and an option to search in YouTube for the related videos.
4.YouTube will give the related videos list. User can able to watch the related videos to get more information about the disease.

First Aid:
1.List of available first aid injuries / accidents.
2.A click on the item gives the complete information of that incident.
3.User is able to check the images if the images is available.
4.User can get help from YouTube to get the knowledge to treat that incident.

Doctors:
1.Gives the Doctors list*
2.Click on the doctor name / image will give the complete information of the doctor
Details include: Doctor Name, Image, Specialties, Qualification, Experience, Something about him and in which hospitals he is working. Click on a hospital name
Navigates the user to the Hospitals Module

Hospitals:
1.Will Search hospitals near to the user.
2.User can check the address and details in the map.
3.User can get the navigational directions in both ways(on Map and By Navigational Messages)
4.If the user wants to search for a particular hospital, user has an option to give input to search.
5. Then user can get all the above navigational functionalities to the custom searched hospital.

*Note: This app can be accessed anywhere across the globe and it interprets the exact information form the Google Servers according to the user's location.
Actually, the doctors module is not that essential, but we felt that the app without this module is considered as - A puzzle incomplete.[Keep in mind that this is just a sample and dummy project- Only for this one Doctors module]
Disclaimer: The data in the first aid and diseases module is taken from the website it is redirected to. The names of the doctors and the hospitals they are working are fictions and bear no resemblance to any person. The photographs presented in the app are acquired from a local source.

This is a student team project done in India in which the "HDLabs" publisher - Surya, has done this project in collaboration with his classmates - Rajesh (Also a certified Android Developer), Siddhartha and Sravanthi, for fulfilling the partial requirement of attaining a degree - "Bachelor of Technology" in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India.
Though we are inexperienced in developing top class applications, we have made sure and scrutinised thoroughly the entire app hundreds of times after finishing it just for making this app a complete delight to the user!
