Haiku provides authorized clinical users of Epic’s Electronic Health Record with secure access to clinic schedules, hospital patient lists, health summaries, test results and notes. Haiku also supports In Basket access.

Your organization needs to license Haiku and be on Epic’s Summer 2009 version and will determine the exact feature set and any applicable charges for your use of Haiku. If you are unsure whether you can use Haiku, please contact your administrative staff.

Has lots of potential. Mainly functions as a review tool. Our IT people say we should be able to document, eperscribe, and dictate in the future. For S5 users, you can access settings by tapping and holding the ap switch button.

Initially couldn't log in after upgrading to the s5 since the menu button changed to point to the recent apps. I recently found that you have to press and hold the button to get the normal menu button (settings) and complete setup with new install ID#.

Using the one for android I cannot take pictures and upload to the chart. I constantly get a server error message whenever I try to save the photo. Never had that problem using it on the iPhone. The only reason i use haiku is so don't have to have patient pictures on my phone.
