The only application that automatically notifies ICE contacts when 911 is dialed.

If you are calling 911 or someone else the app allows 15 seconds after the call is completed to cancel the message. Great hurricane and bad weather preparedness tool.

notifiICE seamlessly integrates two potentially life-saving functions:

    1. Automatic notification of your In Case of Emergency ( ICE ) contacts when 911 is dialed.
    2. Key medical information that first responders will need to treat you most effectively.

notifICE was developed with help and insight from:
    • 911 Centers
    • Fire Departments
    • Police Departments
    • Mothers and Fathers
    • Children of Elderly Independent Parents

How It Works -- notifICE automatically messages the In Case of Emergency (ICE) contacts in your phone when you call 911, letting them know that you called 911 and giving them a map of the phone’s location.

The application also contains vital information for first responders and emergency room personnel, such as medications, allergies, and even insurance coverage. If you are unable to communicate, notifICE emits a signal to alert first responders to check your phone for critical medical information. (the sound is morse code for SOS ). It’s the first product of its kind (and patent protected) that tightly integrates both functions with seamless ICE notification after a person calls 911.

If you call 911 on behalf of someone else, notifICE gives you time to cancel the notification message before it’s sent to your ICE list. There is also a test mode feature where you can test notifICE without calling 911.

What First Responders Say: John Niehaus, Training Section Chief at the Rapid City Fire Department, views notifICE this way: “As a public safety agency passionately committed to serving our community, we are extremely excited to see technology like notifICE. This application has the propensity to enable our Department and other health care agencies to be more efficient and effective in providing the high level of emergency care that the public expects.”
