Phenylketonuria (PKU) is a genetic disorder in which the body can't process part of a protein called phenylalanine (Phe).

PKU diet is one of the strictest diets in the world. Adequate intake of essential vitamins and minerals is very important to maintain health, growth and development. Numerous studies shows potential risk of developing deficiency of essential nutrients including Vitamin B6, B12, Choline, Selenium in people who follow PKU diet.

My PKU Diet tracks phenylalanine, vitamins and minerals and shows deficiency according to Recommended Daily Intakes*, age (infants, children, adults), gender (man, woman) and special nutrition requirements (pregnancy, lactation).

    THIS is the app I have been looking for! Record what you eat, look up calories, phe and protein or scan the barcode to record it and save it to your diet record. Track and record your weight phe levels & check on vitamins and minerals.

    Could be a great app!With lots of nutrition information display, not like the other apps that minimise information to three vitamins and carbs/fat. Not intuitive at all, but great design (looks professional) Also in plus info about all nutrition. Keep installed and waiting for improvements.

    Good enough app, a bit unintuitive and no directions or help so you just have to figure it out. Good features- compiles daily nutrition intake including phe, calories, vitamins, fibre etc, and %rdi, option of emailing records to you/your dietician. Also can keep track of phe blood levels and weight. Drawbacks - can't see most brand names for low protein foods in search; when entering values for
