I actually used this app to test my hearing and found my left ear does not hear frequency over 3900hz! But right one does.

Tones pulse on and off but it does have separate controls for left and right and it plays in background. Web site is very poorly written. Not clear how to buy this app but wouldnt anyway with the 30 miute limit
