But there should be more drivers for DVRs, and also if you guys could add another feature for tasker. Have an option to cast straight to chromecast from tasker itself. Also ive notice if the app is not running, there is no motion detection, maybe make the app run in the background as well.

No matter if I set the widget to refresh every 15 seconds or every 5 minutes, it does nothing. Removing and re-adding the widget to my home screen doesn't fix it. A reboot doesn't do it either. It sticks on whatever image was there when the widget was created. I use my Chromecast to send video image to my TV. It records activity and sends to Dropbox. Bravo!
