Denon app developers are an absolute waste of human life. Give an option to choose static/manual IP then we don't need to search the device again and again. Use your unused shiny brain a little bit.

I don't know where the bad reviews are coming from... We use it on 2 androids and one iPhone connected all the time. No problems...

Update: seriously, has any of the software developers ever tested this app? I mean not like designing the GUI ON desktop PC. I mean like really tested? Different settings by using different smart phones and tablets with different operational systems? And different networks. Have you ever gained user experience by having it in your own home? It's just not usable, plenty of errors and forgotten network settings! Is that really how Denon wants to be perceived? Please do something about it andake it user friendly. Please listen to the error reports sent by your customers. Seriously, I sent you every single crash report. Use it! Worst app ever, regular news searching for one device in network. Dozens of clicks required to access demanded artists /albums on NAS without a chance for proper short-cuts. But the biggest reason for making the app almost useless - the annoying instability. I've already sent numberless amounts of mails to the developer because of all the software crashes. The AVR X4200 definetly deserves a better supporting app than this crappy attempt.

I was unable to even connect to my (supported) receiver. The app just keeps restarting on its own. Horrible and useless.
