    FourTracks Pro's review

All you need is a phone to record using up to four tracks at a time. Ideal for musicians and composers.

    5.6
    • Record up to four tracks
    • Compatible with WAV and OGG formats
    • Easy to use
    • You need to pay to access pro features

"Create your own recordings and mixes"

    THE VERDICT

You don't need the latest generation recording equipment to have your own mixing desk. Four Tracks Lite is an app that gives you your very own recording studio on your mobile. The app is very useful and functional for musicians, singers, and composers that want to work with the most up-to-date and economic technology.

    THE PROS

The app is very straightforward and easy to use, so you won't need to start fiddling about with complicated settings. As soon as you open the app you'll see that there are four recording channels for you to use at your leisure. You can fill them with any instrument, rhythm, or voice you want. You have four tracks to play around with, with different buttons to regulate the volume and fading of each one. We like it because it works extremely quickly and dynamically. It's compatible with WAV and OGG file formats, too. When you're done, you can share your mixes with your friends.

    THE CONS

The app is lacking a clearer storage system for the recordings. Additionally, if you want to access more advanced, professional options, you'll need to buy the pro version.

Timing is off... I can fix it with the latency option but that takes enough time to get me out of the mood to record... Please fix this I'm on Alcatel Fierce 4

Seems some buttons have disappeared which no longer allows me to even access my menu. Also, maybe a way to adjust tones. Something simple like bass, mid and treble would be useful. Edit: looks like it may not be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. No menu buttons on these phones. Can't save or convert files anymore on this device. New edit: Figured it out! Changed the heading, back to great app!

What's up with the HORRIBLE LAG/Latency problems I've been having since I returned back from a yr of not using the app...?!? I've bought ALL your converters (and APPS, actually) and I record with quality headphones, so could you PLEASE explain to me what I might be doing wrong? Thanks

Loved this app on my xperia, even in lite skin. No way to open setting menu on galaxy note 4. Just let's you clear tracks. Sorry, I needed my money back. I will gladly purchase again if this is fixed. Bummer

I used this app for a long time and it was spectacular. I switched to the Galaxy s7 edge and since the update to the app, there is no option to save your work or open previous works. All I could do is record and nothing else. Was a great app but now to look elsewhere.
