To prevent your device's mic from picking up what the speaker is playing back, we recommend using either:
* a USB audio interface or
* an iRig MIC Cast: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigmiccast. The iRig is of better quality and playback is done through its headphone output. Note that hardware monitoring is not possible and you won't hear what you are recording through the headphone.

Recently changed in this version

• Added 'Region magnet' to Grid options which snaps edits to region boundaries.
• Changed behavior of instrument tracks: the MIDI channel can now always be changed in the track's Output dialog and the MIDI channel of the MIDI events and program changes are ignored.
• Editing a note event in the piano roll editor did not always trigger playback of the note. Solved.

Why did I waste my money on the midi plug in as it doesn't do simple editing functions as other apps do, and you don't have to pay extra for the privilege. It records midi, but editing the data is cumbersome and counterintuitive. This app is not there yet.

Recorded the initial vocal line. Good. Plugged in my headphones to record a harmony vocal line on a separate track. Bad. Two things happen. 1) Google Now search box pops up continuously when this app is open and headphones are plugged in. 2) The harmony track distorts and contains the initial vocal line and my new line (shouldn't headphones cause only the new harmony to be audible?).
