A premium music steaming service, co-founded by Dr Dre

First we had the designer headphones. Now Beats Music (co-founded by Dr Dre and now owned by Apple) offers its subscription-based music streaming service. The app offers super stylish access to this premium service (currently available in the US only).

Beats offers unlimited, ad-free access to over 20 million songs for streaming or download (including whole albums, not just playlists as with Spotify, but at the same download rate). Start off with a 14-day free trial, or opt for the $9.99/month or $99.99/year subscription (per person, on up to 3 devices).

Awesome curatorship is The Beat's flagship feature, with a whole host of expert curators putting together unique mixes. As you select tracks, Beats learns about your music taste and suggests playlists.

Under 'The Sentence' tab, you can select words to fit your mood, while in 'Highlights' you can check out the hottest happenings in music now. Create your own playlists, then publish, share on social media, or keep private just for you. If you're looking new music, Beats certainly offers a fresh take on music discovery. We're looking forward to worldwide roll-out.
