HomeDJ can handle large music libraries with millions of songs.

To make your device to stream any type of music file, HomeDJ will convert these formats into your device compatible format, such as MP3, OGG, or even FLAC. If you have Disk Images with CUE sheets, HomeDJ will automatically use CUE sheets to extract song from Disk image on a fly, so you do not have to split it every time you create or buy a disk image with CUE sheet.

You can adjust sound quality to fit the bandwidth of your network. Better quality, more data will be streamed, faster bandwidth you would need. Lower quality if bandwidth is very slow, such as 2G network, or you have mobile data plan, which has strict limit on amount of data you can use. Usually lowering quality might not be very noticeable, especially if you decide to stream in OGG format.

This is awesome, perfect replacement for audio galaxy and, for me, pandora. Only thing I would add would be themes. I dislike the color and overall look of the app, and think it would benefit greatly from themes.

... may be functional, but barely - my "imported" play list can't be edited or deleted (at least by no immediately apparent function built into the app). Just using play lists in general is a major pain. On the up side playing music remotely works like a charm if you're willing to manually scan your songs. This app has a lot of potential and if the play list feature worked the way you would expec

Works better than Audiogalaxy ever did. Easy to set up. Excellent sound quality.

Seems like the focus of this app has changed to how well it can deliver ad revenue, at the expense of functionality. After the last few updates, it has gotten worse and worse. Realtime streaming of FLAC seems to be a dream, even on the same network without buffering multiple songs ahead. And that is across 3 devices from 3 manufactures. The ad block detector was a deal breaker for me finally.

I downloaded some new songs today and started scanning my music folder with the HomeDJ Configurator about 8 hours ago using the "normal" scan mode. It is currently at 44% complete so almost half done. Why does it take so long to scan your music collection ( I have about 19,600 songs or 103 GigaBytes of data)? If there is a way to speed up the scanning of your music that would be awesome. :)

UPDATE. Changed rating to 5. Developer worked w/me to fix playlist prob, resolved in 3 hours (music came from old machine, pathway wrong, my fault) ORIGINAL. Like others, I got this to replace Audiogalaxy. It's nearly as good, and some parts are better. Definitely beats Subsonic. I'd give it five stars, except for three flaws: difficult to make play lists, doesn't find my old play lists (created
