iShala is an Android/iPhone/iPad app that can be used as a tabla machine, a lehra player and/or an electronic tanpura. These are small machines that provide rhythmic/melodic accompaniment to people practicing Indian music, or just jamming on any other musical style. Featured instruments are Tabla, Harmonium and Tanpura. You can select to play one or all of them, and they will automatically synchronize together (apart from Tanpura that is meant to follow its own cycle).

The beat count is still out of synch in v 1.11. I can't reach the menu on Asus tf 300! Can't hear tin tin ta Ta in madya drut. Sound shouldn't stop when one changes tempo! But so many nice features!!

About time we had something like this for Android. Good job but keep on improving! There is a bug. When I select Farodast and switch from madhya to madhya vilambit it switches to ada chautala and Farodast disappears from the menu. Please fix.

I can not differentiate between the first and ninth beat in drut teental. This confuses me during my vocal practice. Just a piece of "Traka dhin dhin na" in the last four beats (as in the madhya teental) will do. I hope you will correct it in your next version. But overall it is a good software for tabla and tanpura.
