MixZing Media Player is a music and video player for Android
This is one of the most complete music and video players for Android we've seen. Let's review its main features:
Regarding music, it scans your phone to make a list of your mp3 songs. Then it categorizes it by album, artists and song title and genre. Actually you can play the songs by those criteria by choosing the one you prefer on the bottom bar. You can also create your own playlist.
One of the strongest points of MixZing is that it gives you recommendations based on your playlists, which can start from just one song. Actually, MixZing creates a playlist everytime you play a song (you can enable or disable this option). You can also rate your song as favorite and MixZing will automatically integrate it into your playlist. It contains 6 different sizes lock-screen widgets. However, the widgets could be improved since they only show the music controls and the album cover (in different sizes). What we really like is the ease of use of graphic equalizer for MP3, AAC/MA4 and OGG files. It allows you to discover new busic thanks to spot-on recommendations and tag editor.
You can also play videos that you have on your SDcard. The resolution and the response is quite good but it hasn't special settings for videos. Finally, there's a folder directory to look for music on your device.
MixZing Media Player has been developed by MixZing, an emerging developer who has only launched this app (and its paid version) on the market, but who's doing a great job with it.
It's true that there are lots of Media Players on the market. Although choosing this one or another is a matter of taste, we have to say that MixZing brings some added value features: great equalizer, lock-screen widget, music recommendation system.

Since the KitKat update won't recognise any of the music in my folders. Was perfect before, now unusable. Happy to change to 5 star when its fixed.
A full-screen video ad? Really?
Downright love the app, but it doesn't even start up on Android 4.4.1 Will rate 5 stars when this is fixed. I see the last update was July 22, wouldn't know why you're ditching an app that can take on Poweramp.
Compared to other so called free players that doesnt have an equalizer enabled unless you pay extra. I thought this was just another boring player. But it made me say wow... great interface for large and small screens. Although has limited EQ - but you ca
I have had this app since I first bought a android phone (T-Mobile fender my touch) I now have the Sprint LG G2 I love this app it has changed so much since the beginning and I have messed with other music players I don't think anything comes close!!!!!!
