MixZing Media Player is a music and video player for Android
This is the paid version of MixZing Media Player with ads-free and improved features.
This is one of the most complete music and video players for Android we've seen. Let's review its main features:
Regarding music, it scans your phone to make a list of your mp3 songs. Then it categorizes it by album, artists and song title and genre. Actually you can play the songs by those criteria by choosing the one you prefer on the bottom bar. You can also create your own playlist.
One of the strongest points of MixZing is that it gives you recommendations based on your playlists, which can start from just one song. Actually, MixZing creates a playlist everytime you play a song (you can enable or disable this option). You can also rate your song as favorite and MixZing will automatically integrate it into your playlist. It contains 6 different sizes lock-screen widgets. However, the widgets could be improved since they only show the music controls and the album cover (in different sizes). What we really like is the ease of use of graphic equalizer for MP3, AAC/MA4 and OGG files. It allows you to discover new busic thanks to spot-on recommendations and tag editor.
You can also play videos that you have on your SDcard. The resolution and the response is quite good but it hasn't special settings for videos. Finally, there's a folder directory to look for music on your device.
MixZing Media Player has been developed by MixZing, an emerging developer who has only launched this app (and its paid version) on the market, but who's doing a great job with it.
It's true that there are lots of Media Players on the market. Although choosing this one or another is a matter of taste, we have to say that MixZing brings some added value features: great equalizer, lock-screen widget, music recommendation system.

I really want to like this app! What sucks about it is I'll pick an artist to whom I wish to listen exclusively and the app will play four, five, six songs of my selected artist & then arbitrarily picks another artist & plays that---even though I ONLY wan
Love it, great app just one problem tho recently added list will not update/show new music and hasn't for several updates please please please fix I loved this feature
I rarely upgrade my apps, but did for all of the great features this one offers in comparison to many others that I tried and were disappointed by along the way. By far the best music & media player hands down!
Have to have it. It's tha best.
I paid actual money for the full version, so why do I still have to look at annoying promotions for right-wing radio shows? Would not recommend.
Bought the app, love it, but the icon keeps disappearing too often on my screen, it is very annoying, no other apps do that..
I love this app, I even paid for the no add version to support development. It seriously needs flac support though. It can already play flac files, but only if you manually launch them outside the app. I just want it to detect them in my folders. Having a
