Why is it such original? It has been developed to be managed with your fingers. It focused on visual management of your music library. The home screen is a word cloud (album plane) that supports multi-touch. Thus, you can pinch to zoom to see all your albums, unpinch to see all your artist or click any album to explore it. Long tap. on album or artist to see detailed options.
What's more, it's been set in a minimalistic design which makes it smoother than others. Keep in mind that this a music player for playing you local music library, there aren't nor sync options either streaming music service. However, it contains almost all the features that a local music player must have: equalizer (including presets effects), playlist, screen widgets (also lockscreen), tag editor, shuffle/repeat, sleeptimer, lyrics support... and many others.
If you use to listen to local music on your Android, give this a go. You won't regreat. Highly recommendable.

Interface is awesome, sound quality not so much. Hear a lot of pops and distortion, and is not very loud. Es file manager plays songs and sounds way better.

The interface is neat and very functional. Moving from one song to the next is a breeze (pinch in, select artist, select song... easiest, compared to the ones i tried). Bluetooth issue fixed! Deserves a 5 star now!

For a long time this was my favorite music player, now, after so many updates,it has become the most unstable app on my Samsung Galaxy Plus. I've sent many bug reports, using various email references...never got any feedback whatsoever. They don't care ab

This used to be my favorite player. But now my music doesn't play at all times after pressing the play button. It works when it works. Please fix

Couldn't stand the stock Android music player! N7 music player is aesthetically pleasing with great features including lockscreen toggles. If you're looking to upgrade from any music player choose N7.

Headset controls doesn't work with android 4.2 version. It calls the last called user. Other than that, the player is pretty good.
