Add this app to your lists
Improve your singing performance with Repertoires – a midi player for choral singers to practice their individual vocal parts.
Whether you are a soprano or a bass, simply mute or lower the volumes of the other voices to easily learn new songs.

If your choir uses midi music files to learn new songs, this is the midi player for you.

When you open up Repertoires, it will locate all midi files on your device and display them in a list from which you can easily choose the one you would like to learn to sing.
Click on the volume settings button to individually set the volume of each vocal part. The names of the voices that you will see have been set up by your Choir Master or whoever created the midi file. When you are happy, save the volume settings and return to the main play screen.

A capella or with a band, you are now ready to start learning your repertoire for your next performance!

File support:
_Midi type 1 – fully supported*
_Midi type 0 – playback supported, but volume cannot be set individually.
*With exclusion of files generated by some midi generator applications like Lilypond. If you have issues with volumes in certain files, please send them to us at support@blackfisk.co.uk, for faultfinding and support in the next version of Repertoires.
(If you have no songs, the list will be empty.)

No songs are included with Repertoires, but you can find plenty of freely available ones on the internet or maybe your Choir Master is already creating them.

Finds all midi files automatically lets me adjust volumes of vocal parts individually. Very simple interface, just what I needed for practicing!

This app does what it is supposed to do. I opened up "Canon in D" on it first and could manipulate the individual instruments. I wish though that I could do that in real time without going back and forth. Nice and simple. Not able to read some of my favorite midi files. It crashes frequently too.

A really useful player, rather than a complex midi editor. Actually opens midi files, many of the editors only open their own format. Stable on Galaxy Ace. Would like %age playback speed control and clock please.

Nice simple design. Exactly the functionality I was looking for, no more, no less. But, it crashes too often, and says some midi files are type 0 while they are not. Also the volume controls, when they are shown, are all at the left to start with, yet all parts are played at full volume. So how am I supposed to mute a part? Would pay for a good version 2.0
