What kinds of files does it read? .txt, .pdf, .doc, .rtf. I'm not going to buy only to find out it won't read my format.

As do many other musicians, I have a lot of songs (some modified, some original) already documented (in tab form) in Word (or other similar apps.). Unfortunately, it was very cumbersome to get these into the android version of Songbook & CS was of little help. Fortunately I discovered I could copy & paste into the Add Song edit screen and then delete the top line on the edit screen - {title: }.

Used the software first, the app is great too. We compile medleys and mashups which are "original" versions of cover songs. This makes it so easy and I always have them on me

I bought a brand new Tab 4 7" to use this app and after transferring 5 songs, 2 of the songs did not transfer completely leaving only half the song, I deleted and transferred again but got the same thing. Additionally, when using the SD card to store songs, it would not let me save changes on the SD card. No PDF or Word documents put the last nail in the coffin.

Simple yet powerful - you can type lyrics, chords and set the pace for it moving up. It is an invaluable resource for performances.

I've tried them all and this has been the best for several years now.
