I really love this idea, but the sound quality just wasn't there. I was hoping to use it for an entertainment system, and on the big speakers it sounded like AM radio. And while it's low latency, it's not no-latency. Wouldn't really work for a video stream. Cool idea tho.

(may be related to my slow and weak smartphone) This was very choppy even on the most compression and lowest quality when I tried to listen to a youtube video. Then after a few minutes, the "trial" expired and it became useless. The biggest problem though, is that there is no security in place, so your neighbors could be connecting to your audio server, since there is no password setting, all you

Very fit for purpose but for the extra quality definitely worth buying the full version

Amazing, worked first time on Samsung note8 wifi using connectify as local wifi hot spot on pc. Only thing I had to do was allow the firewall prompt on win 7.

My laptop speaker and sound card both are broken. I am using E2ESOFT VSC as virtual sound card of my laptop and SOUNDWIRE to use my phone speaker as laptop speaker. Just need to manage the latency with VLC PLAYER audio delay while watching movie.
