After giving up with trying to control Spotify with ssh, I found this app. Works wonderfully and sexy as hell to boot.

I rebuilt an old netbook I had to play spotify. This makes the remote control, like I use on my android to windows and Mac setup, work in Ubuntu. Saves my phone battery and I can stash the mini anywhere!

By far best workaround yet for Spotify control from Android to Linux.

Thanks a lot for this fabulous app. This works perfectly with Ubuntu 14.04 and Android 4.x. I've just donated some Noks because I really appreciate what you do. From a developer to another: good job man!
